Notion stores everything as blocks on nested pages, so the same tool holds meeting notes, a product wiki, a light CRM, and a public marketing page. Databases can be viewed as tables, boards, calendars, or galleries, and pages can embed each other freely.
For a solo founder the draw is consolidation: one free workspace replaces separate docs, wiki, task list, and content calendar subscriptions. Any page can be published as a public website at no cost.
The free plan is unlimited for a single person and only starts capping blocks when a second member joins. AI features now sit on the Business tier, and the free plan limits file uploads to 5 MB each and page history to 7 days.
