Airtable stores data in bases made of linked tables that you edit like a spreadsheet but query like a database. Records can be viewed as grids, kanban boards, calendars, or galleries, and Interfaces let you build simple internal tools without code.
Solo founders reach for it when a content pipeline, CRM, or research log has outgrown Google Sheets but does not justify writing a real app. Forms collect submissions and share links let read-only collaborators view data for free.
